Our strength is in our diversity

By Carol Day

I am so excited about the Oct 17th election we will have four new councillors and a new Mayor. I will work with the new council team and ensure the newbies are supported so they can be successful.

Richmond is a multicultural community and as your city councillor I will hear all your comments and represent everyone equally. Our strength is in our diversity which is why Richmond is such an exciting place to live.

As we near Oct 17th  “ELECTION DAY” I will continue to work hard to ensure everyone is aware of how to vote and empowered to use critical thinking to select the best possible candidates for the NEW Richmond City Council.

Richmond is an incredible city with so many recreation and cultural venues. As your city councillor I will work hard to maintain our high standards and address the needs of our community.

Richmond is a safe and welcoming community and as your city councillor I will work to maintain emergency services and vote for more opportunities for citizens to volunteer in exciting new areas like the arts and sports facilities.
