Provincial Government requires full name and adress for donation

Your $10, $25 or $50 will do more than help push our campaign for change – it means so much more than that, it means you’re investing in candidates who are going to stand up for you and make decisions based on what is best for the people of Richmond. Eligible Political Contributor must be resident of BC who is either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. Anonymous contributions of $ 50.00 or less are allowed. In order to be truly anonymous, the Financial Agent or the candidate does not know who made the contribution. Municipal election donations are not tax deductible according to provincial law.

To be eligible to donate, you must be a resident of British Columbia and either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. According to municipal election laws, anonymous contributions of $50 or less are allowed, provided that the candidate or financial agent does not know the identity of the donor. However, municipal election donations are not tax-deductible under provincial law.
